We are
patiently awaiting the arrival of our latest technology. Custom Tool
and Die has made a move to purchase a
Dimensions model SST 1200es rapid prototyping machine. It will
be available mid-April of 2009. The printer has a 10 x 10 x 12 inch
capacity. I incorperates the use of a new ABS material which about
40 percent stronger than standard ABS material, making it ideally
suited for testing the form, fit and function of inherently fragile,
fine-featured models. We will also be able to print concept and
marketing models, functional test parts, tools, patterns, molds,
jigs and fixtures all in the size you need with the strength of
ABSplus material. These durable models and component parts can be
snapped, screwed and pieced together.
